Why is a Level 50 culinarian failing Quick synthing maple surger?

I don't understand how it is logically possible that I fail on things that I would need to use basic synthesis on and fail all 4 times. The time it takes to make a stack La Noscean Toast from scratch is bad enough already. Shouldn't need to have to keep going back to make the basics because you fail 3 of them.

It's because you're quick synthing. You're not paying attention to what you're doing, you're just pouring syrup on a table and smashing your knife into it hoping that equals sugar.

Quick synthesis is the devil. Better to just manually synth things and use Careful Synth 2 so that it's 100% on each go.
