I do feel having less spam but that s just me

Haven't been gathering much lately but will start again soon and see whats going on around nodes.

Anyway thanks for letting us know every two weeks what s happening.

I came into this thread expecting to see some brave Eorzean taking a stand against the abominable practice of lalafel tossing.

I guess it depends on your server. I find that if I stay in Mordonna or Gridania I get no spam. Yesterday while gathering just outside of Bentbranch I got 4 tells in 20 minutes. If I step into Ul'dah I cap my blacklist. Spammers may be less, but bots still run wild. They still have a very long way to go to get this under control.

It really depends I gues, I don't usually get any spam. Seldom I get a /tell about RMT (twice a day on a busy day, 4 on a very rare day, sometimes even none, I guess I also spend a lot of time inside instanced dungeons XD) but yeah.

P.S.: You don't really have to blacklist em, let alone keep them on the blacklist (if they keep constantly spamming you yeah blist). You should remove em later on, even if it does't strictly say "(deleted)" doesn't mean the character is active, RMT guys are not stupid, no reason to keep the same character spamming if it has been around for so long that everyone blacklisted them (though again it shouldn't really matter since I'm sure buyers don't blist em anyway).

Really sad they only take action agains RMT and Gil buyers. So many player botters out there and not many caught since Launch. Got 1 I kept my eyes on him since Launch. Now he is a lvl 50 miner with a lvl 18 job. A few lvl 50 with relic+1 been botting fleece for a few days are not caught. SE should start aiming at these ppl before 2.1.

spam has decreased substantially on hyperion. still see it occasionally but not nearly as bad as it once was with RMT spamming 1000 lines a minute in every zone lol

RMT tells are down to about 2-3 a day, with no RMT shouts or yells. Still, that is 2-3 times more than the last game I've played.

EDIT: Of course, the last game I played, LOTRO, is a "Free"(ha!) to Play game where gold is almost irrelevant since everyone walks around like billionaires and everything you could possibly want is already sold for real money in the in-game store.
