I actually liked that we didn't need to partake in the RNG lottery to get the best possible items.

Except about half the classes already did. It doesn't really seem fair to me that Relic+1 is best for BRD/WHM/WAR/DRG/BLM, but MNK/SCH/SMN/PLD get lumbered with the second-best-in-slot weapon. Now at least we are all in the same boat, welcome to the club!
