I don't think guy knows what is left and right when it comes to making games. School must of been difficult for you but this thread is just stupid, another trash thread from you.
We come from the land down under!
I do think that they should make Relic harder to obtain, but then again they do need to add MORE difficult content. What I mean by this, is that currently coil is the only difficult content (turn 5 specifically), there needs to be more content, other than coil, that is difficult.
Specifically, I'd really like to see SE take more advantage of this beautiful open world that they have created, yet no one uses (I know, I'm speaking for end-game people here). "I need to go do (Insert end game primal/dungeon/instance here)? Ok, I'll go to revenant and shout, or just Duty Finder it".
Edit: Depending on how Crystal Tower turns out, might be a good option to add to Relic quest to make things more difficult. Additionally, EM Primals are definitely something I'm looking forward too, will have to see how difficult these are. However, I still stand by my open world comments, currently there isn't too much use for the open world.

Don't give up.
Not expecting EX primals to be overly difficult.. simply because they give weapons equivalent to relic+1 (by ilvl, not necessarily by stats).
The Allagan buff is appropriate, but even with the bump in ilvl unless they re-balance the stats, some of those weapons still won't be overly useful. I have the Allagan Spear for instance.. without pretty much perfect gear for every other slot, it is useless in T4/T5 due to the huge ACC loss caused by switching it in for the Gae Bolg +1.
So we shall see. ^^
Relic should be a long/hard quest to get the best weapon in game.
Beating the hardest content on game should net you a relic upgrade.
Any drop beating the best relic version is a design flaw.
Don't you agree?
The Relic + should be slightly less powerful than Allagan weapons. You need to kill the HM primals to get to Coil, so, if you do it right, you'll have the normal Relic as you enter into Coil. And then, by the time you get to and defeat Twintania (or in the very least, by the time your farm produces the Allagan weapon), you get to upgrade to a +1 while waiting.
It seems like proper progression to me.
I don't see a problem with it. The Allagan weapons are gonna be only slightly better than relic+1 anyway. This is how it should be. Personally, I think there are too many people with Allagan weapons already.
This. The blurred definitions of "casual" and "hardcore" the General Discussion Piss & Moan Club have written are foolish anyway.Being casual and being noob is different you know. What you're describing is that you're "noob" and not that you're a casual. I'm a casual, I play very limited hours a week but I still manage to get stuff done in coil regardless. Stop blaming people and start taking a look at yourself.

Also +1s will go from 3 weeks to 2 weeks /w the myth increase.. however my preference is going to be for EX weapons at the same ilvl for my secondary jobs.. that is 900 myth that I can instead use on armor pieces for the other classes I use in Coil in addition to DRG.
1.2 Million seems a bit less on our server Twintania wins are sold for 3 Million there are 2 groups atm how are doing it. Not sure if 3 Million is worth a wait of one week but hell why not.
I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.
He who learns but does not think, is lost. He who thinks but does not learn is in great danger.
If they nerfed relics, it would be a punishment.
Boosting other weapons is a reward.
Give them props for going the positive route.
Quit whining like a baby, get your lazy butt into coil, get your allegan weapons and stfu.
