So you want to beat Titan HM

I know a lot of people have issues with Titan HM . I know a lot of people say its lag , or some other excuse why they cant beat him . But dear Friends . I am here to help you .

First im going to talk about the typical Titan Fail . Most people can get up to Phase 5 .( those of you who can not make Ph5 god have mercy on your souls) And at Phase 5 is where people have the most issues . You notice after the 4th stomp there is a Weight of the land . And this is where people 60% of the time fail . You notice most parties everyone is sorta spread out when this phase comes . The Weight of the land takes up a good chunk of the arena . People cant move because there indecision on where to go and then people start dropping like flies . But there is a solution .

If you look more closely to the Weight of the Land they spawn 5 circles . The circles spawn under 5 random people . But never the tank ( usually never ) So to have a smaller area to Avoid as soon as Titan starts to stomp everyone run together behind Titan . IF you timed it right after the 4th stomp there will be 5 circles all together making it much easier to get out of . And much easier to mass heal after the stomps .

The bomb phase is easy also and makes up the remaining 40% fail . Just remember the first bomb that is dropped is the first to pop . The last bomb is the last to pop . There are 3 versions of the bombs . The first version is the circle . The 2nd is the x ( clusters in the center with safe zones on the outside ) The 3rd is the 3 lines . On the lines the middle row is always the first row to pop . So always be at the last row that was dropped . Then once middle pops run to the other side . There is ALWAYS a landslide right before the first set of bombs pops . And it will be 80% of the time facing the direction of the first popped bomb. Only time it wont is on the line formation .

After the Bombs there is one more Weight of the Land . SO as soon as bombs pop everyone should stack behind Titan again . next will be the Goal phase and a landslide easy to avoid wile getting the person out of the stone . Then the entire Phase starts over again only change is the bomb pattern . Hope this helps a little bit now go EARN your relic !!

This is how I avoid plumes 99% (no one can guarantee 100%) of the time in p5. Right after first Mountain Buster, he will start stomping, this is followed by plumes. I start moving just before they show up to eliminate any potential lag spike (can dodge 90% of the time anyway). He will use bombs soon after, after they are dodged, Mountain Buster will soon follow. After MB, it takes about 3 seconds for the next set of plumes, start moving just before they show up. After he uses rock, MB is used shortly after, followed by stomps, followed by plumes. Rinse and repeat.

You don't need to remember his whole pattern for p5, only a few things that tell what's coming up.

exactly If you are the tank its simple just tank and hold hate . If your the DPS you just need to move from 3 things . Landslide , Weight of the Land , and the Bombs . If your the Healer good luck

Wrong Information. In phase 5 Titan has a soft enrage on tumults. Only 4 stopms the 1st time. On next Rotation 5, then 6 and so on. Important to know for, especially for healers

Just hold hate is not enough on P5 you have to know where to stand which should be somewhere on the northwest side( you will notice a small safe zone for the line bombs only) be prepared for mountain buster by usuing your defensive cooldowns, porvided that one of the healers top you off, you should survive and the rest is up to the dps.

I've seen mixed results with the stacking-plumes tactic. It means less ground is covered in plumes, but anyone who hasn't memorised when they're coming or hesitates or whatever is in even more danger than if everyone was spread out. For the average stats people have at Titan HM, they can endure one WotL from full HP. If you mess up dodging stacked plumes - insta-death. Also rarely will anybody be standing in the exact same spot when stacked, it creates a mass larger than the standard plume meaning you have to run a bit further.

Don't get me wrong, in a team that knows the fight well enough it's fine, but it means you can't afford to get hit once whereas you could maybe get away with it otherwise. In PUGs I prefer standing in my own space, running in little circles when I know they're coming just to get a bit of momentum and that works for me. I'm not dismissing the tactic, it's logically sound, just in my experience there's always those that get insta-killed from the stacked plumes.
