To the person who said something about Chocobo Breeding, there is no confirmation of this. However, the producers did say the chocobos will be implemented in more than just a mount, so it sounds like it could be true, but we do not have any direct message saying it is so.

They could have developed an entire standalone chocobo dungeon game to be played within FFXIV in the time between when they should have already had that system in place and when it will actually be a real thing.

And yet you'll likely get some pat clunky chocobo CAPTCHA grind that is obviously just a reskinned gathering mod that took 3 weeks to slap together.
