How long do mounts take to add?

People seem to love ignoring that the game needs to basically be remade. FFXI got chocobo's for riding fairly quickly in it's life because they didn't need to go back and redo ...pretty much everything. it's a little silly to think if the conditions were right we would have to wait the same amount of time (9 months) to have them.

FF11 had chocobos in from the beginning.

There's no good reason why they didn't have chocos and airships at launch. They had 5 years.
