because there are 2 zones (exaggeration obviously) to go to. Why the hell would you pay for a choco or go through the hassle of getting on an airship when you could teleport using anima (which I honestly think should be abolished, or reduced down to like 10 because it really hinders people exploring or walking, more so than choco and airship.) to get to your destination that much quicker.


That's why. I'd be complaining about lack of zones before I do chocobo's and airships.
Priorities, Priorities my friend.

If you play the game everyday, that 100 anima last like 10 days... I hover between 6-10 anima... which is not much if you do things besides Uldah leves.

Transportation is desperately needed. Anima is only enough is you are extremely casual in playtime.

Maybe turning in locals without using 15 Anima or running for 45 minutes?

Ask again once the battle/job/dungeon changes are done. Ya know, the things it seems they have been busy with.

I fail to see an issue. Our running speed is infact a bit faster then ffxi's. And it doesn't rake long at all to walk to places. I literally walked from gridania to ul'dah and it took 1 hr. Running = 40 min. And this included stoping to get camp spots also. A chocobo even as just a mount will not be all that much faster. And your still "walking" to the locations.

And fyi and The anima has lore backing the "restrictiveness." It is said that aether waves (the style of teleporting we do) causes stress to our bodies anime is a fail safe (and better then gil considering repair costs and gear prices)
