What happens if people Troll DF with Vote Kick?

Anyways I didn't make the thread to be like NO VOTE KICK or Oh no Guys don't use DF cause 3 trolls might kick you when you join oh noes!!!!
Cause some people seem to think that was the reasoning behind this. There's no risk taking that needs to be talked about or we can't live our lives based on what if's.

I made the thread in response to what someone else posted in another thread I asked a question that got an answer. Simple as that.

If they really mean this it might be alright. But if they are lax about letting people abuse it I think this will be a net bad.

I could see a couple of _____ getting together and queueing up for the duty finder just so they can kick people over and over for the thrill of it. And something like that could piss someone off to the point of canceling their account. Forever.

I do admit it's a real problem that one bad apple can effectively ruin the whole instance for everyone though.

For that to happen 3 trolls would have to team up and stalk the DF all day long just booting whoever dropped in.

Now, assuming many people are Qed for the instance, that next group said player gets will be legit, and logically, they will only get to boot one person per Q. Not the SAME person multiple times.

If you are this person who was fast-booted from the party, you probably think, "Hmm, those guys are jerks" then the next group pops and you let it go. I can't See this happening to you over and over, I really think it'd be rare.

So idk, guess it could be abused by trolls but why bother when most will get another group quick? Plus trolls dont run in packs...well most dont.

I didn't mean one person getting kicked from the same 3 people over and over. I meant that 3 people troll and kick whoever pops in queue everytime a new person enters.

Urgg...the paranoia.

Look, they said that vote kick will have restrictions. That may mean we can only kick someone if they DC or AFK for a hour... AKA the new vote kick system may be completely useless. And personally, I'd rather three trolls vote kick me(resulting in no 15 minute lockout for me) than get a group with ONE troll who can ruin it for three of us by going AFK or messing around because we don't have a vote kick system. One of us would have to leave in the latter trolling experience, forcing us to eat the 15 minute debuff.

It's not paranoia, it's a legit concern because people said prior to release: "You can't troll the DF or AFK when you load it up", yet what do we see? People trolling the DF and AFKing it. It's very possible to troll the DF with the vote to kick unless the system checks if you actually should be kicked or not - You join somthing 8 man and people who premade and joined and just plain don't want you to get gear or credit, they can vote you out because it's majority rule.

If we were both SCHs and I see something drops for SCH that I want and I joined with 5 other people making it 6/8? You'd be kicked if I had em all decide to vote to kick you - That's pretty much what trolling the Vote to kick would be. SE says a lot of stuff that tends to be the reverse.

See here's my concerns with it I have PLD which I use sometimes but I play MNK and I'm really not afraid to get kicked either way. Anyways on PLD it takes about 1-2secs to Queue on my MNK its about 30-45mins. And any DD can attest to that.

So what you fail to understand is the fact that if you are a DD your queue times aren't just a matter of a few "Minutes" they can be damn near an hour. So if three asshats decided to Troll (which now I've found out that there will be some restriction on using the Vote Kick) and kick the 4th member who queues up and they just so happen to be a DD their shit out of luck and have to wait an extra 30-45mins+ just to get back in.....

You understand what I'm getting at? But according to SE it won't happen.

And if you don't think that 3 people don't have anything else better to do you best think again.
