First of all, I want to say I do enjoy FFXIV and I started playing it back in Phase 1 of beta testing 2.0. I've also been heavily involved in forming several FC Alliances to help members of each of our FCs with grouping and raids. We started this process for everyone's mutual benefit and especially for 2.1 when 24 Man CT was planned to be released.

I have to say this announcement during the last live letter (Question 10) of not being able to cue our different FC groups of 8 together really killed morale. Not to be elitist here, but we want to play the game with our friends in and out of our FC as our first choice not to be forced to randomly cue. In other MMOs, this was a bonding experience and I feel cheapened since this won't be in place initially. I was hoping it would be great way to draw together our different Raid Groups as one unit, especially since we currently CAN NOT help each other in the current COIL lockout system.

Q10: Will you be able to form your own alliances and enter Crystal Tower?

A10: In patch 2.1 you will not be able to form your own alliance. You can enter with a party of eight.

I feel the current system for COIL, already feels like it divides our Community with the lockout. Please don't do the same for Crystal Tower. I really want to experience CT with 24 people within our FC and Alliance (pre-cued together).

Do we know when this plans to be changed?
