With the announcing of the beauty salon I heard of some disturbing functions of it. The sharing of hairstyles between the different races. Letting this happen would hurt the uniqueness of the race/clan specific hairstyles. I would rather see new hairstyles that are unique to the respective character race. Especially with the Elezen, though I would like to see everyone get NEW and UNIQUE hairstyles that furthers the differences of them. Much more attractive idea for those of us who like to put a little thought in their character design instead of lazy re-scaling and recycling of old content. I'm putting my $15 in a month, i want to see the differences of the races expanded on, not the opposite. Who else likes my way better?

Having the hairstyles cross race i think is fine. I understand individuality, but if you have say 10 hairstyles per race, there is a good chance in a day, you will see several people look just like you. having the choice between all the styles gives you more of a chance to individualize yourself

Well that's down to the creator, I just wanna see new ones way more than the same old same old. Besides you'll see the same hair even more often with colorblind highlighting as the only difference.

The males need a lot more even. I mean c'mon is this Final Fantasy or what?

They already stated in pervious forums they are planning on making new hairstyle looks along with facepaints. Keep in mind this isn't their main priority unfortunately for the vanity-lovers out there. The new hairstyles may not make it to 2.1 but will probably be added in 2.2. I only say this because of the facepaint not being added in 2.1. Cross-hairstyling is a good fix to adding more variety also keep in mind SE stated they can't make super long hairstyles because of some technical aspect. I am happy they are giving us more options anyway possible my poor cat girl has only very short hair options. Meanwhile human and Elezen hairstyles are pretty awesome.

So you'd rather have old over new and unique?

We don't need super long either, just new, unique, and tasteful.

No, but you have to understand hairstyles are fun but new content is better. They will add more styles in the future can't always have things right now.

I just would like to see them make each race more unique, and time isn't an issue for me.
