Why is "The game is new" a valid agruement as to why they don't have more content? It's not like this is the first MMORPG ever, it's not like they don't understand exactly what the vast majority does in these games, hit level cap then do endgame.

They make a game with very little endgame to speak of so naturally people run out of things to do and complain on the forums. Then those people get attacked by others because they are upset with every right to be. Why should you continue paying a monthly sub for game that has almost nothing to do? What else would you like these people to do? Just leave? Yeah that's why they come to the forums to state they are unhappy about the game and would like to see a change if they thought the game was horrible beyond hope they would just leave.

Yes you can go do other things like level another class/job but it's just a repeat of what you did before, with nothing new to do of course you'll get bored fast.

This might have been an interesting read if I was obvious to what 2.1 had coming...

If you ask me SE, is just a tad behind schedule in release 2.1 but still with in a reasonable window. I say this because a patch should launch right as everyone is finishing up old content and getting bored. Seems like 3 months is the magic number.

As for the OP, have a look at FFXI patch notes starting from launch and tell me did better.

Lets have the entire WoW content, which was developped in the past few years right now in 3 months final fantasy ARR, cant be that hard eh? Oh wait, pretty sure we lack content again :X

What I'm missing in this game is quality storytelling in sidequests. There should be more effort put to the cutscenes in the future.

Also the beast tribe quests are a good opening for more long-term content but they're kinda pointless when it comes to rewards. I hope these would be connected with better over arching storyline and or gear worth grinding fame for.
