Odin just spawned and was defeated! Also I did a test and I found out you can't see his weather from the Lavender Beds.

EDIT: Also I saw a lot of people get gold this time, easily 40+, so it may be possible that the requirements for gold have been adjusted.

I believe it must have been. Seeing a lot of people, myself included, getting gold at the last 3 steel reigns (getting gold on failure does net you one mantle, interestingly). Took this screenshot after the 2/24 one and getting my uncut ach (names removed to protect the innocent? or something o.O) There are easily 50+ people shown and that's certainly not everyone, since some may have had it and I don't think the range on ach notifications is that huge.http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/2203/pi3c.jpg

Very interesting, thank you for the info! The time frame for the change lines up with the 2.16 patch, it seems. I hope this change is permanent, although I'm wary since it wasn't something officially released in the patch notes. Unless I missed it, which is extremely possible.
