Did they say if CT will have lockouts?
Did they say if CT will have lockouts?
You can pick your language choices in the Duty Finder window. If you don't want to play with French, German, and Japanese as an English speaker, you don't have to. If you pick one language, you don't play with people that picked all 4 languages as far as I'm aware.
From what I read, it's more of 3 parties in the same dungeon but taking three different paths. They will probably meet up eventually, but it still seems like you only worry about what your party is doing.
And yes, I'm fairly certain they said no lockout Genjisamurai.
auto translator, make use of it
Use auto-translator, it's no different than any of your other interactions on JP servers.
Alternatively you can just uncheck jp in duty finder and get grouped with other english speakers, people seem to be planning on doing this anyway to increase the chance of getting put together.
I suppose if the content is hard enough, even the AT feature will not be enough. It all worked out fine in FFXI as far as doom and gloom goes. So i want to say it'll work out fine here, too. But FFXIV is much more fast paced and unforgiving than FFXI ever was. But the way I see it is, requiring 24 and being hyped as the casual player end game, I don't suspect there is going to be a dire need to communicate strategy in detail.
Choosing to use the autotranslator instead of simply playing with people who speak your own language, is like giving up your car so you can ride to work on a seatless bike.
Because the dungeons atm are too easy to begin with, and it only involves 8 PERSON, but with the coming of CT, which involves 24 persons, I doubt communication will be neglected esp. when one party can't proceed if the other party sucks, I believe you're starting to understand the point of this discussion. You don't want to end up leaving the dungeon because the other party can't finish their task and you can't explain things to them due to the limited use of Auto-Translate and such.
