Chapter 1: For the Winsome

Im so piss about GM support at the moment, for some unknown reason i can't get the quest from Petyr Winsome, i've done the Fates few times so i got weapons but i can't get armors and do other quests from this event cause of that. The answer i got from GMs the worst generic answer telling me to look on lodestone and forums.

So is there anything i dont understand in:
Chapter 1: For the Winsome
Required Level: 12 or above
Quest Prerequisites: None
Quest Location: Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks - Petyr Winsome

It's say nothing other than be over lvl12 and speak to Petyr

Any help would be more than welcome

Are you switched to a Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic class that's at least level 12 when you go to pick up the quest? Won't work if the level 12 or higher class is a Hand or Land disciple.

It's a bit unclear what you mean by unable to get. Do you have a red icon over his head? Or is there no icon and he just has a generic speech when you talk? If it's red, is it in your quest log or not?

If he has no quest icon over his head at all, then you likely have already finished chapter 1 by turning in an otherwordly package to him. Double check by opening your journal, clicking on the 'Complete' tab, choosing "Seasonal Events" from the drop-down menu, and seeing if 'For the Winsome' shows up in the list. Chapter 2 requires your active class to be a DoW/DoM of at least level 26 at the time you talk to the NPC.

If he has no quest icon over his head at all, and the quest is not showing up in your journal's "Complete" tab under "Seasonal Events," then I would submit another support ticket with as much detail about which icons show up, which quests show in your journal, which weapons you bought, etc.

If he has a red quest icon, and you do not have the quest "For the Winsome" in your Journal (look in your actual journal to double check, not just the tracker in your GUI in case you have tracking off) then that means you haven't started it yet at all and are missing a requirement. Your active class must be a DoW/DoM and at least level 12 at the time you talk to him. Try talking to him again when you meet those conditions.

If he has a red quest icon, and you do have the quest "For the Winsome" in your Journal, then that means you are missing the item to complete the quest. The item to complete the quest is the same as the item to purchase weapons, so its possible you spent them all on weapons and don't have one to turn it in. Do another fate to earn another otherworldly package and turn it in to him.
