Are there plans to buff elemental resistance and consumable items?

For example if I want to protect myself in a primal fight, tank or otherwise, consumables and battle buffs should offer more in the area of elemental protection. You have all of this lore surrounding the primals and jobs like conjurer built around aspects of the elements themselves, yet in game protection is limited to flat magic and physical reduction or elemental resistance items that have a 15s duration!!

Even if small, these items need to have a purpose.
Introduce quests lines to perm. adjust your elemental resistance.

Change potions from x% for 15s -> affinity bonus 2-3 minutes.

Please re work materia, it is only really a gil sink and only provides true benefits for hardcore players. This should be a system that invites and encourages customization. Example: bonus stats based on if you crafted it, HQ/NQ, Elemental Affinity (color of materia) and how many of each type is on an item.
