"WAR was fine, they should have nerfed PLD!"
"WAR is hard mode!"

These are excuses made by people who feel the need to justify the class they play because they feel they'll be looked down upon otherwise.
For one, what you play is your own, but you're not fooling anyone into thinking you're doing some invisible hard mode when

A. Its not you handling the burden its your group, so you're not doing any hard mode period.
B. We actually know what difficulty modes represent because there are games besides FFXIV:ARR to look upon.

It doesn't matter if Paladins "should have been nerfed." That's kind of what I'm trying to say. It's that kind of thinking that turns these kinds of posts so negative so fast.

Fact is, Paladins nerfed, Warriors buffed, in the end it's the same for us. Content gets harder or content gets easier, but which one is completely outside of our control. Saying things like PLD/PLD is easy mode and PLD/WAR is the way coil should be run/was intended to be run just insights negativity.

Half of the forum rages about it. Its hard mode, not optimal, you are being carried, its all on your healers.

And I never ever said that not optimal was a bad thing, or that choosing to do things the hard way is a bad thing. If it floats your boat, then go for it. It's what I and my group do. But I also don't act like I'm not taking the "easy way."
