Modern PC Gamers and their mod crazy habbits.
I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
It always happens with sequels but in this case this kind of stuff came with the advent of mmos. it comes with the territory im afraid.

I should be shocked to see another one of these, but I'm not...

IX was good, maybe the last one with the kind of magic VI was oozing literally

That is all, /thread.
PS: X-2 was good also, I like transformation cut-scenes reminded me of sailormoon.

I wouldnt mind being able to jump when i want to, the only thing i hope they dont add is pvp, pvp is not part of this fantasy game

You're talking about me and.. I am for jump. I'm not surprised that you took it seriously but you're right that it's ridiculous that everyone is still arguing about it. Grow up some of you!I just read that they maybe implementing a jump feature, I mean I can't believe it, it will be so exciting!! I always thought that why didn't they have this before??? I can't wait, i'm gona jump all the time now hehe.
On a serious note I decided to make another post about this to point out the fact that the people who are against jumping, still don't have to jump if they implement it, and the people that want it do get the jump everyone is happy right? Of course not you have people bringing you through the history of gaming telling why you shouldn't have jump in this game, wow well done.
Point is choice allow people to have it. So you say "guhhhh we don't need jump, no point guhhhhhh it will make my fantasy game look more silly with people jumping guhhh, no jumping before in any other FF game guhhh"(even though just clearled ff7 again and you could jump in thatWell they should be creating terrain to allow jump have a purpose, its a fantasy world allow something a little more epic, rather then just running for hours? Climbing, swimming and yes JUMPING.
Before you complain, yes I did make this topic out of anger, well more so annoyance, i'm annoyed because I didn't read the forums in about two weeks or so, and I thought there could be some nice new info but all I can read is people arguing over adding something like jumping. What do you even say to that like, am I the only one who thinks this is just crazy?
EDIT: I know this will be closed soon, I just wanted to say lets have choice and everyone is happy!
Dude, lighten up. Jump was in FF7.. map instanced or free jump, jump is jump. His point is that map instanced jumping was part of FF7 and that it can be a part of FFXIV too without being un-Final Fantasy. Your belligerent map instance referencing takes nothing away from that point.
Why can't we focus on your awesome game taste instead of hearing your poor arguments about jumping? Nier, best game of 2010, by far.
Thumbs up!6 does not need to be compared to other titles.
6 is the only title that really matters.
6 is simple by far the very best FF title.
To not love 6 has nothing to do with taste, it is pure ignorance.
6 is superb and this fact is not debatable.
Any argument against the superiority of 6 is the result of ignorance, envy and trolling and is completely invalid by default.
i am not kidding.
Amen Sister/brother.
Hey now, we have no use for a moderate opinion here! Get extreme, sir!

X was better than 7
