Lowest Pop NA Legacy Server?

So, out of boredom and curiosity I found this topic ( http://ffxivrealm.com/threads/fascin...n-census.8611/ ) created earlier this month.

It's all in Japanese, but the original poster labeled what the columns mean.

If I'm reading this right, it looks like Hyperion is the lowest populated NA Legacy server on the list, with Balmung being the highest pop.

Any thoughts on this? I'm kind of intrigued and confused, especially considering that recently when one of my FCmates tried to have his friend make a character here, we still had a server restriction on character creation.

The chart is nice, but be careful what conclusions you draw from it. People who have stopped playing, RMT characters, and people with multiple characters, even abandoned ones on multiple worlds, may skew the results.

Also, character creation restrictions change by the hour. Your friend's friend would probably have no troubles creating a character in the morning before work/school. He/she could even work at night to get the character just right, then save it to a slot. Then the next morning just log in and choose it. Boom. Instant Hyperion character created. (Well, after the ~5 minute ride into town...)

Look at it this way: Char creation was disabled on Hyperion & Balmung almost the entire time. And people fled the server en masse with transfers because of our insane queue times.

Ranarok was the lowest of NA/EU legacy servers at start of service while as others have mentioned, Hyperion and Balmung were transfer locked for most of the initial weeks of service. I still see way more people in towns and such than I ever saw on my 1.0 server, so I'm not sweating it.

I think Hyperion is far from been the lowest, it looks like a pretty overpopulated server to me as others mentioned, due to the creation/transfer restrictions people flew to other servers and that s cool and all but keep in mind there are a LOT! of FCs y LS seeking for people so you are not on a empty server.
