Some things that really bug me in this game

Ah of course, the do it yourself or deal with small inconveniences defense. That's well and good. Too bad the game isn't really that appealing that the lack of polish and tons of inconveniences(however minor they may be) are not something I am willing to overlook.

When you are top flight well received game with tons of great things going for you, bringing up little things might seem like nitpicking. When you are a much maligned, almost a joke of the industry type of game, these things will get magnified. Its nice that you can just shrug them off. Hopefully for the game's sake there's plenty more people like you.

Some things that really make me laugh in this game

1. Why is it not possible to invite someone unless they are 2 feet from you or on your friend list?

2. Why can't I see where in the world people on my friend list or linkshell are at any given time? Because asking the person I want to hang out with where they are is so difficult.

3. Why do I have to un-equip my gear, then seek repairs on them, then re-equip once repaired? Oh man, all this un-equipping and re-equipping is such a pain, but at least I have something to do now while I wait for my buddy to come and do the repairs on my gear.

4. Why can't I change any graphics/sounds settings from within the game? Because I've stumbled across a place that looks really nice, and all of a sudden I want to change my Graphical Settings to High and my Resolution to 1080p. But at least I can change the volume settings through my In Game UI.

5. Why are food effects so vague? My character is just so hungry but I don't know what the food does. What if I accidentially poison it....so many uncertanties

6. Why is it when crafting, I am using fire shards and a harnessed ice element gets unstable? Becase the shards are made up of each harnessed element. But the most dominant element in the crystal/shard makes it that type.

7. Why is it so hard to figure out who is online in your linkshell currently? People who are online, but have a different pearl equipped show up as grey, with the green light, but so do people who are online with your pearl equipped. But some others show up white. Its very confusing -----This one is my favourite so I'll make it easy for ya /L Hey guys, what's up. Who's all on tonight?

In real life does a blacksmith repair while you wearing it? no they don't there your answer for this question.

That is a fair statement but there are so many things that you can do in this game that you can't in real life. These have been put in place for "ease of access" like teleportation.

Yet for the sake of argument I don't believe i've seen anyone in real life have to stop to go from active "ready to attack" then continue running or stop to pull out their weapon.

Example someone comes up and smacks you with a bow and you start backing up to gain a defensive position but you stop mid stride to pull out your weapon. Oh how realistic lol....

point here being please do not use the realism arguement to make excuses for something that is very annoying and most other games handle more effeciently.

Looking at a few of your other posts Mack, you regularly throw out the "Fanboy/Troll" card, so I'm not gonna take your comment personally. You should really go back to FFXI though if you really want FFXI-2. Oh, and please post where you disagree with my AP (above post)
