RUMOR: PS3 release/PC fees restored on August the 14th?

yesterday I spotted this news article on FFXIV.17173.com (article is in chinese)

What is says is basically that (quoting Wada as a source) the PS3 release of Final Fantasy XIV will be on August the 18th, and together with it the monthly fees will be restored for the PC version, given that the content will have reached satisfactory levels.

Now, lemme reiterate this (if the topic was not enough): this is a completely unconfirmed rumor, and it gives no link as a source.
Though, this isn't exactly a random blog of a random chinese, as 17173.com is one of the biggest MMO networks in China (you can compare it to Zam), and SE considered them relevant enough to let them have an interview with Yoshida that they published last month (it actually includes a couple interesting tidbits, like further mentions of PvP).

While I would be definitely surprised to see the PS3 version THAT early, i thought I'd report it and let people believe what they will

While I'm definitely not saying that we should blindly believe the source, it's silly to think that just because a site is chinese, it's disreputable. As already mentioned 17173.com is a big network, big enough to get direct contacts and interviews with Square Enix.
Now, they may definitely be wrong, or have misinterpreted (or mistranslated) something and jumped the gun, but considering the actual source (without throwing myself on the rather ignorant chinese = false equation), I doubt they're intentionally spreading a fake.

Nope, they're talking about the international version (to which that site is mainly dedicated, at the moment, it even has a guide on how to play on the international version), besides, the PS3 isn't sold in China, and FFXIV has not been officially released in China as well yet.
