I read that too, and I couldn't be happier!

I can't keep track of all the text commands anymore. And it's not because I'm one of these kids brought up in the point-and-click internet age, it's because I'm getting old, LOL! We really should have more of a visual interface for our options. All the above mentioned toggles in the config menu. A player search interface where we can search for someone by typing their name, which will show us things like what class they are, where they are and give us an option to click and 'invite-to-party'. While I'm on the subject, a command like /pcmd is not an intuitive way to invite anyone to a party. That makes absolutely no sense to anyone who didn't play FFXI. Why isn't it something easy to guess, like /invite ? That's what it is in World of Warcraft. Surprising I even know that, considering I barely use the text command. I usually invite from the social interface, my friend list, or my guild roster with a right-click of my mouse. The only text commands I ever use on a regular basis are emotes.

It may sound spoiled, but many modern MMO players don't even USE text commands anymore. That's like expecting people to use DOS commands when they have the option of Windows 7. We need more visual interface options and intuitive ways of doing things, instead of trying to type commands and guess.
