For Hawaii PC players Lag issues.

Tried this on O'ahu and it didn't work. :\

Might want to try Battleping. I also live on Oahu and used to have massive lag spikes. Got this and it was a world of difference.

are you doing it correctly? it has worked for everyone i know in hawaii that plays this lol, make sure you have it tunneling to chicAGO, you MUIST launch the game with pingzapper, and you have to turn pingzapper on, little sliding tab next to "[ingzapper" in the program.,

Nice writeup Desolo! Ping Zapper is good stuff, many of the EU and JP members of my FC use this and have no issue dodging anything.
(I've even seen one EU member have time to cast a cure when Weight of the Land pops and have plenty of time to not take damage.)
If I didn't live in Chicago I would totally take you up on this offer.

Bumping this too for those of us in Hawaii (and everywhere else with issues!)
I used to be able to put up with the latency spikes I had early on, but now it's become a heavy packet loss issue and the rubberbanding actually makes it impossible to play. The free trials worked great, so think I may finally cave and pay for a VPN-- it's that or quit :< just a shame we need to pay extra just for a tolerable connection.

Thanks for the post :3 didn't realize Chicago was my best bet. Had just been toying around with servers along the west and east coasts.

Just posting to say I also use pingzapper, and it has saved me a lot of stress. (I love in socal.)

As a note, it let's you have up to two computers using it at the same time, which worked out perfectly since hubby and I both play.
