Serious Chimera Glitch

I tried contacting a GM but didn't hear back

We fought Chimera, killed it, then the fight didn't end.


That's when I noticed it said I was there for my WHM (Thyrus) even though I already beat Chimera and was on Titan, while the rest of the party who were helping had WAR showing. (helping a WAR from my FC)


Kinda seems like a big glitch? apparently it had happened before to some of the other members in party as well.

Just wanted to let people know.

Had the same thing happen, though only the fight not ending, had to sit in the instance until the timer ran out, then it didn't even count for the few that needed it.

If you have someone log and come back it will fix this problem and everyone gets credit.

I never had that happen with Chimera, but the very first time I beat Hydra the same thing happened.

Report this in the bug section, that way the dev will likely see it ^^

My husband and I had this happen last month and we reported it though had no word back from the report so... i know recently he tried the fight again and got the item he needed. But the first time we had to sit through the timer as well and then it said duty failed though the boss was long dead before.

There is a bug report forum for stuff like this, don't call a GM, use the ingame bug report thing or post in the bug report forum following the proper format for your report to be accepted.
