    I had the same situation

    I helped a lot of people get their relic on titan.

    Then finally the one thing i want dropped and when i said i wanted it, there were a lot of swearing and saying how shit I am if i took it...

    So my blacklist had a lot more people now... and I don't give an F about helping anyone anymore, sadly

    I honestly think that you need to find a better group of people to play with. After all this game is about community, so what happens when your community is bad? You switch communities! A good guild/linkshell/free company is what can make or break my game. I think its one of the reasons I gave up on WoW after Wrath, my guild fell apart and I could never get in another one that I felt at home with. Before you give up on humanity or this game you should come to our server lots of good people and lots of great community. Tons of good FC's. I cannot recommend it enough. Please give me a tell if you ever decide to do so. Until then I hope you find what you are looking for. Don't let other people make life hell in game, its just not worth it.

    I stopped playing about two weeks ago, started to get mad over not getting any drops in Coil after 2months of running it. Plus I don't want to run AK or WP anymore, no more fun.

    Gaming is obviously (one of) your hobbie(s).

    It is natural, that something you like doing does affect you and how you feel. Gaming is not different from any other activity you do voluntarily in your free time. Yes its a virtual activity but it is still an activity. Noone should judge your hobbie as inferior just because it happens online.

    But... if your "friends" really only use you and not help you in return when you need something... maybe you do need new "friends"?

    Get better friends. I make sure my group's first priority is to empower the group as a whole, not individually.

    In any MMO, You want to find people who have similar play styles or have similar beliefs. This generally allows most people to enjoy the game to its fullest extent. Not everyone plays this game for the same beliefs or plays the game in a certain way. However, one of the benefits of MMOs is that there is a huge population of players. If you hunt enough, you will always find a population of players that fit your needs or has the same beliefs. It may take some work but it will pay off greatly.

    There're two kinds of help. The "I'll help you out!. . just glad to be of help!^^" kind of help and the "I'll Help (do you a favor) but you better remember this!" kind of Help(Favor) hoping they'd return the Help(Favor).

    Sounds like you're the latter and by the looks of it, I would wager it had something to do with Coil drops to probably gear out your SCH or something. I could be wrong, it might be that I've just hit it home or just offended you for no reason but the point is:

    if you like to help, you shouldn't expect to get it in return, you should just do it because you love to or don't do it at all.

    MMORPGs = Darwinism and greed!

    No but seriously, I wouldn't stop playing just because you feel you have to drop your needs to help those of your friends or randoms. Like others previously said, sometimes you have to look out for your OWN interest first. Being nice in this game or IRL seriously gets you stepped on or used by others. If you can't say no, then you're seriously setting yourself up for utter disappointment and the feelings you are currently experiencing OP.

    Hence why nice guys/girls finish last lol!
