Question: How long is the Life span of a Miqo'te?

I've been reading up and searching for the answer but haven't found it. I'm sure someone already asked this but it's my first time to play this game.

I did notice in the post of their naming convention about the Nunh and the Tia. Really sounds like how a lion pack are.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand.

I'm not entirely sure but if they're anything like the Mithra from FFXI, that the race is based on, they don't appear to outwardly age like Elezen, Roegadyn or Hyurs. (The Mithra in FFXI remarked on how strange it was for the other races aside from Taru to grow old.)

But as for life-span, not sure.

Curiously, the current nuhn of the U tribe in Forgotten Springs definitely looks aged with his wrinkled skin and grey hair and beard. I guess it's all the. um,.. use he's gotten as his role as nuhn which has aged him prematurely.

But yes, miqo'te definitely don't seem to outwardly age physically. Even their FFXI counterparts the mithra didn't show physical signs of aging (like Windurst's chieftainess Periah Vershai was stated as being elderly and yet still looked like any other mithra character in the game), so I guess we're just blessed with youthful vigor.

Hard to tell, really, when there's barely even any child/elder NPCs to any races. Seen only few hyur and elezen children in Gridania, but can't say I've ever seen a child roe or miqo'te. There's few clearly elderly hyur NPCs in Ishgard, and you can make the male elezen look tad bit elderly with one of the face-choices. Same with male roes, and I'd guess with male hyurs, too. Can't say I've seen any wrinkled females, though, NPC or player.

If we went by the logic that miqo'te don't age because we don't see old miqo'tes... well, then we should assume that they are born as adult-size or something.

Hmm, kinda like you never see pigeon chicks. I do remember one Miqo'te talking about 9 lives though. I think it was near Alder Springs. And since she said meow, as you know most cats don't really show their age that much, I had a cat that was very frisky and looked as if she was still young at 19 before her health took a sharp turn for the worse in a short time. I could be Miqo'te are like that. I would like to see a Miqo'te kitten though, SE really needs to make some npc ones.

I've had a thread up for some time asking about lifespans and age markers for all the races, but there's been little in the way of dev/lore CS rep response to it. Hopefully at some point they either reveal the lifespans in game, or reply to it. For the more part, I've noticed most people are going with the idea that everyone has about the average human life span and that they age around the same rate (perhaps somewhat slower), with Elezen and Lalafell having somewhat longer lifespans because there have been hints in game that they do, just to err on the side of caution.

I hope they add models for Miqote and Roe kids, at least. I can't even imagine how tiny kid Lalafells would be, though!
