That they would ban the person submitting the request is absolutely plausible to me: especially if the rep in question was having a bad day. I understand the Reddit poster could be lying, but it just kinda rubs me the wrong way after reading all those posts.
Agreed, but with the number of trolls around, I can't help but doubt such user testimonies, although there certainly is the possibility of it being a true account but I'll reserve my judgement till there are sufficient evidence to prove it
