    Will We Ever See the Return of "Additional Effects"?

    I did a search and noticed this question asked on the "Ask Questions for Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XI!" thread.

    My question is basicly the same. Are there any plans to reintroduce Additional Effects to weapons, armor and abilities?

    An example of additional weapon effects would be the chance of special damage on auto-attack with an Ifrit, Garuda, or Moogle weapon from 1.0.

    In version 1.0, the Moogle weapons had a chance of absorbing HP relative to the auto-attack damage delt.

    Ifrit and Garuda weapons had a chance of additional Fire or Wind damage respectively.


    In the case of ability or armor effects, one example would be the White Mage artifact head enhancing cure potency. Ability effects, such as a certain Pugilist passive ability (I can't remember the name), set with the old system's ability points system, enhanced curing magic and healing abilities by 10% which allowed for greater customization as well.


    I'd noticed the Community Team going a bit crazy with replies to certain threads lately (see: Heck the Bed) so I was hoping they could pass this question along to the Dev Team and get us an answer.
