    Loading Screens

As I have played the game, there has always been a disconnect between the zones. I can venture from the rocky highlands of Coerthas to the desolate drained Mor Dhona to the lush Twelve's Woods, to the arid desert of Thanalan and across the Bloodbrine seas to Limsa.

Aside from the boat ride, there is a strong disconnect. In the best case scenario I would like to see little rest stops or camps as in in-between zone like what was seen in FFXII. I would like to stand at the edge of the forest and say, "Indeed that is where the forest ends and the desert begins."

Now I realize that this is no small undertaking when there are already many aspects that require attention, but to at least assist with the immersion as well as provide something fresher than a black screen with the loading circle (which I enjoy enough to use as my Window's busy mouse cursor), I would like loading screens to be implemented.

Now just a standard picture would be an improvement, even just the logo if we are feeling very lazy right now. A more proper loading screen could serve as one of the in-between zones and show the transition of going from the highlands to the drained wastelands, or to the forest, et cetera.

If we are feeling driven or cool enough, but not as awesome as actual smaller zones, a loading screen like what was used with Dragon Age 2 would be fantastic. They could show a dynamic transition between the zones, or for a more original method, there could be short FMVs that act as loading screens of the player(s) trespassing onto the new ground from the old.
