2 Casual, these people ALSO love the game, but don't play nearly as much as us hardcore players (not saying I'm an elitist, i just play the living crap outta FFXIV). So they tend to just play at there own pace, and mostly just do things they know work and get the job done. Most of the casual players, will have nothing to do with the elitists, cause they dont blend well with game styles.

Kudos for Yoshi-P the dev team, and also SE (if applicable) for trying to make this not happen, but its like a guy trying to put up a caution sign for a wet floor, and slips and falls 200 feet before they get to the point. By having a weekly cap limit, would ensure that elitist wont blow the casuals out of the water gear wise. Looks great on paper (I'm all for equality) BUT horribly fails in function.

A) There are NOT only 2 types of players. Their is in fact a 3rd, i call us (cause i am one) a hybrid. Hybrids are hardcore players, that strife to have the best, and be the best at what we do, BUT we also help out the casual or new players. Reference, a couple times, I would just be in Reverent Toll, doing nothing, or not seeing anything that catch's my eye.

THEN low and behold, someone is shouting for help for there relic quests. I look at the shout, and think, shrug my shoulders and respond to help them. These people know NOTHING of what they are about to encounter. I give the low-down, inform them, and am praised for the knowledge. THAT right there, made my helping them already acknowledged as a good deed, and the rest is like icing on the cake.

Beat Chimera, then help 3 in AK, then reform, kill Hydra and then mow down Ifirit and Garuda (not quite special enough to 100% win titan). When I leave the party, either due to RL events, or realizing, that that group can't win, i would leave. Head held up high, for the fact that i helped 5-7 people get something, and im sure some people had to bride with game money for FREE. So to Yoshi-P and the dev team. RECOGNIZE that we 3rd class of players exist. Not every hardcore player is just out for ourselves.

B) By having a weekly cap for Myth tomes, sure does slow our progress, DOES NOT fix your cop out. IF there were to be no cap? Sure would divide the community (which is already horribly divided anyways) but your also hurting us hardcore and hybrid players.

We HAVE to have the best of the best we can get our hands on. Waiting 16-19 weeks (if relic +1 is in the picture) for AWESOME gear for 1, that's right "1" job? I LOVE my 3 classes i have, MNK WAR and BRD, so in turn, i have to wait 48-57 weeks to have them all geared? WOW, that righ there is so disheartening, makes me wanna rip my hair out, trying to figure out what i want to try and pimp out first.
