Click on the image of a picture and then insert the url. Then preview your reply to the thread. The picture should show up without issue. If it doesn't check what website you are hosting the image on and try again. Some like imgur.com have special i.imgur.com/<picturename> that are required.

Example for this picture

Simply posting the image url http://imgur.com/RtWVfYj inside of the image icon doesn't make anything more than a little icon like so.

However copying the BBC code message


Produces the picture.

step 1: find a gif.
step 2: right click image and select copy image url.
step 3: click the icon that looks like a picture frame [insert image].
step 4: right click in the blank and select paste.
step 5: press ok.
step 6: post.
