Uh, what? Red Mages have always used swords, and their iconic weapon is typically a rapier... and if I recall in XI they specialized in several buffs/debuffs.

XI is not the most typical FF, and unlike FFXIV it doesn't cater so much to previous installments. Red Mages use swords, yes, but not like Nyanta does, and they are most remembered by their Dualcast skill and not fencing abilities (the only title I remember that they exclusively used Rapiers was in FFTA, and it was probably because Fencer is a pre-requisite for unlocking Red Mage).

It is Stiens Gate, but the image is edited to make it look more... Yandere, I guess? (Yandere was one of the tags it had on it and it made me laugh.) I came across it when I was looking up chopping images 'cause I was originally gonna make a WAR reference, but this one was so much better for a DPS.
