RNG Progression Wall

I know that the devs have said before that they won't be introducing a token system for the HM primal fights but I really think they should reconsider. I'm going in on over 50 Ifrit fights and I've still yet to see the book for my SCH even drop. I know that its a statistical anomaly but it kind of limits my progression onward because the only other way to get an ilvl 55+ weapon besides the primals is to buy the crafted ones.

50 Ifrit fights? You can get the i80 book for 900 philo tomestones by completing the relic quest. At your equipment level, I'm guessing you might be having trouble with mp in Titan post-heart. So leave all the healing up to till the final phase to the other healer. Then between ethers and Ballad, you should be able to avoid running out of mp in the final phase. Don't use adloq, drop virus and eye-for-eye before mountain buster when you have them. Drop sacred soil after gaolslide, before the cleave, and it should stay around long enough to mitigate cleave, mountain buster, and the stomps. Use your other two stacks for Lustrate, one each after each mountain buster. Spam physick/embrace on the tank when you're doing nothing else(Before and after Gaol, after Weight of the Land while the bombs are dropping, especially after the bombs explode before the second Weight of the Land). Do this, and there's no reason you couldn't keep the party up solo in the post-heart phase even with a 4x book(I'm assuming you're using the Wanderer's Palace book(i55) or the i55 crafted book though). Don't overdo it with the Succors...just one before stomps, as necessary during, and no healing a non-tank outside of those times.

It took me some 20 exilerating Titan attempts before I passed it. But the parties these days tend to be more experienced and with i90 people mixed into the CF queues(looking for the most hardcore challenging experience in the game) I wouldn't expect it to take that long.

Wait...you're not doing 50 ifrit runs because some idiot told you it would be irresponsible to do Titan without a primal weapon, are you? Because it really really isn't necessary.
