No thanks, I never really liked character cross-overs as they are usually nonsensical and poorly made. I'd much rather see some actual content taken from FFVII, like the Gold Saucer or chocobo races.

Idc how good the writers are. Characters like Cloud and Sepiroth do not belong in Eorzea. I'd rather see the Dev time used for a new challenge XIV related.
Examples:
- 8 Man Battle against Darnus and Gaius teamed together.
- 8 Man Battle against the XIVth Imperial Commanders /w their Legatus.
Good use of Cross-content examples that are already coming:
- Crystal Tower (FFIII)
- Gold Saucer (FFVII)
- Chocobo Raising (FFXI)
Could we at least have a DPS class that uses swords like Cloud, Sephiroth, or Sqaull did?
The lightning event was terrible anyway.
Well problem is that FF7 series isn't even finished yet. The Dirge of Cerberus ending left in a cliffhanger foreshadowing another FF7 game due to the return of the One-winged Angel Genesis Rhapsodos.
Another problem is that we're still waiting for it after all these years!
SE where the Seven Heck is that last FF7 game you teased about in the Dirge of Cerberus ending!
I think its interesting now there is another post about making Sephiroth a primal.
Which would be way better than a fate.
Ok, I'll admit it, I just wanted to bump this so there would be 2 topics about FF7
on page one, happy now? Of course not, you hate everything!
Long as I get to wear Tifa's outfit I'm all for this.
I didn't do the lightning fates because I dislike the character, others should be able to do the same regardless of character so I don't know why it's such a big deal to add more.
That being said, I wouldn't do a cloud or sephiroth fate either. If lightnings boring mediocrety is capable of being matched, its cloud and sephioroth who can meet those sad limits.
