They've never really liked Red XIII though for some reason lol. I'm sure they'd find a way to fit Cloud/Sephiroth in, even if they said it was just the "alternate universe" Cloud from Kingdom Hearts series instead of Final Fantasy.

I think it'd be more logical to have FFV characters in it instead. Since they travel through the Void and all.

It'd be like how Gilgamesh appears in FF8, FF12, and FF13-2 (can't wait for Gilgamesh to appear in this game btw!)

Also, in regards to future collaborations with other FF series, we will be adhering to the below principles:

We will never introduce characters that would destroy their meaning or story
We will not use characters that are already dead or whose role has ended in their title
For example, “Red XIII” who appeared in FFVII.
I believe we mentioned “Red XIV” as a joke before, but Red XIII has a very rare and specific role in the world of FFVII. If he was wandering around the world of Eorzea it would destroy the image of the world of FFVII, so this can’t happen.
This is just a simple example of what we mean.

That's what I was getting at in my post. Their way out of it was just labelling it as a "different" Cloud, Tifa etc. I'm sure they will do the same here if anyone complains.

I wouldn't mind having Tifa's AC outfit, but I honestly couldn't care less about Cloud and Sephiroth.

This. Would be pretty cool. And seeing as how FFVII was there number one baby before FFXIII I don't see why they wouldn't add something down the road.

Almost every person I know their first FF game was VII that's why. For me my First was FFIII(JP) like 93'.
