Well this thread is kinda Toxic.
I'm not going to touch that, but would like to say i think i can see a missunderstanding in play style...

Personally i've never had any probliems with RareEx:

*I know 1 of them from past runs & hes very supportive to players when they have probliems.
*Also seen Ryuuji around with the crafting service & i dont think anyone has anything bad to say about that, I've only heard good & thankful things when its menchioned.
*I've even been in a party with some of them not long ago, they weren't bad people. Nothing negitive happened like what is menchioned here.
*i got them to Merc my Scholar yesterday without gear & all the stats in INT through Titan since I was impatient to do my final relic with FC or random group + to win a bet. Also I've always wanted to see what a run with them was like & if they do anything different.
Safire Saf & the group, I was expecting them to tell me not to do stuff or to do stuff differently, but nope they were like "hey, hows it? you ready? cool lets go." happy to talk. Inside it was clear if someone wasnt sure of anything they could easily work around it.
They didnt complain, did the run, had fun. was so friendly that it was almost like being in a run with my old 1.0 friends.

So anyway If people have a probliem with anyone from any FC you should probably just contact there FC master in game & talk to them first about the person so they can sort out any probliems or worse case call a in-game GM. Just my 2c.

Was in 1.0 on Excalibur where Straigus and (if memory serves me correctly) his brother ran a social LS. Straigus has always been helpful to about anyone that he ran across. He's a good player and knows his role in groups very well.

Not picking sides at all, just voicing my small opinion on the player in question.

BTW I have no affiliation with RareEx here on Balmung or on Hyperion or even Excalibur in 1.0. I did not know that the original leadership is no longer with them and because of them I've kind of stayed away from them. But nice to know it's under new management that are trying to change things for the better.

While I do not condone any such things as "selling" titan wins, the sheer amount of power some people are putting into destroying some reputations is fantastic.

Straigus was the one SCH that healed my very first relic win, out of good will, and we won, and he never messed around either. I'd just appreciate it if people didn't diss people when they don't know what they're talking about. It's very sad that you didn't beat Titan, but why take it out on one of the players that was with you? Messing up Titan is a group thing as much as it is a group thing to beat him.
If you failed, your whole group has to reconsider how they're playing. The only exception being the tank, as tanking Titan is just a cakewalk, and if this one messes up, it's entirely his fault.

question though how much do people sell these runs for
wouldnt you get more potential buyers if the prices were less in the 10-50k range rather than 400k that I have seen :O

50k/6 people = 8.333k gil

At that price we might as well just do them for free. The reason the prices are in the hundreds is because it has to be split between the 6-7 people running you through. That way they get a decent amount of money for their troubles

ah! but wont you get more overall because you could potentially draw in more customers that would not spend 400k but would pay 50k
it would take more runs at 50k to equal the 400k you would make in total in a single higher priced run. but the potential to make more is there
also i think more players have 50k to spend rather than 400k to spend

Titan hm is not the most fun or relaxing fight ever created. So doing it 5 times in 30min to barely match the price of spending 30min to find 1 buyer at our price just seems bad. Despite what shout chat says there is plenty of business at our price

Straigus messaged me in game and he seems like a genuinely decent person. I'm more than willing to believe that whatever happened regarding him was overblown or entirely mistaken, and Ryuuji's response here is exactly what needed to be said. I don't think anything more needs to be said about Galena, he digs his own hole.
