I actually googled the name as I made the original post. It is very similar, but I got the impression that 'adloquium' was a little more personal.

Same with Succor as well (I actually didn't need to google that one =P).
They're much softer expressions (at least succor, never seen 'adloquium' used in a conversation)
Which is why it's more like a priest consoling than an army scholar increasing morale.
Guess I wouldn't think priest though, if Sacred Soil wasn't called....Sacred Soil.
