Let the players help remove BOT's from the MB.

My thoughts is that if anyone we blacklisted also did not show up in MB searches it might help reduce some impact BOT users may have on the MB. Just remove any account that we have blacklisted form all MB searches.

Now their is no assurance that the same account would be used to post and spam ad's , but I know I have found at least 2 retainers with the same name as a first name on my Blist that have bot like activity on the MB. Not common names, actually random lettering so close enough to draw conclusions. I am sure I could find more if I actually tried to find them.

What is to stop people from just clearing their banlist when they need some cheap shards? You know there are those that would do that.

Probably nothing would prevent that. It would be easy to see who was supporting them tho and who was not.

That is not how blacklist work or should be working.

The mechanism of blacklist is not by design extending, or should be extended to the side function you suggested.
People using blacklist to mute RMT accounts is just a workaround to deal with RMT spamming.
Please try another route.

Ok so you disagree. Care to elaborate on why we should not blacklist sales from RMT? I mean IRL i would not do business with someone I wouldn't speak to. I mean sure currently their is no hook in the Blist function that links it to the MB search, but their could be. It seems pretty logical ,and could be one of the best anti rmt tools ever.

The replys on this just showed people don't want to get spam from RMT but they DO love the benefit of the cheap shard from the RMT's bots.
RMT just dropped the price of philo mats to 15k last weekend on my server and people are forced to match them or their sale will tank. I can't say I am unhappy about this because I am on the side of the demand and now I can make full 70HQ set for all 9 jobs. But this certainly will ruin the dungeon grinders' income and I think SE is responsible to stop it and make the game fair to every single player.

Personally I almost never use my blacklist in an mmo. This one has been a noticeable exception. But I can agree if I actually take the time to blist a player I would have absolutely np with blist'ing their retainers also. Normally takes a lot to make my blacklist so yeah I would absolutely love if that included not buying their stuff, even if it was cheaper.
