Is it viable to wear a matching set of armor (head, body, hands, legs, and feet) and still do everything a paladin needs to do? I'm a little OCD about how my character looks, but I definitely don't want to lose out on stats, either.

Yep! Only trouble is that if you're doing Coil you'll either need to wear full HQ Gryphonskin/Rosegold accessories for the accuracy or snag some Allagan jewelry. Unfortunately, only the Hero's ring gives accuracy, so with every other piece you replace with Hero's you'll be losing a good chunk every time, eventually putting you below the cap for every turn. GS/RG is perfectly viable if you're having bad luck, though, so the only thing you'd need to worry about is how much time/effort/gil you want to put into that.
But yeah, obviously there's min/maxing where you'll get more Parry out of x and y piece (see: Allagan Flanchards), but honestly it's really pointless as most secondary stats don't add up to much difference in the end. You can clear all content without min/maxing those, the only thing you need to worry about is your accuracy if you plan on doing Coil which can be easily fixed up.
I just atarted tanking and I found it very helpful
There's little-to-no theorycrafting needed here until the next major update to change things. The info in here is already solid and the best people can get for their pld's.

Thanks for continuing the post.
This is gold I say, PURE GOLD!

Sauteed Coeurl - 2Star SS Food (Tank BiS/Most expensive) Why?
Source
An i90 PLD recently mentioned that once you reach i90, Sauteed Coeurl becomes the best Food due to the 1 point of Vitality gain. The added bennefits of Parry to an i90 PLD which the Finger Sandwhiches brings is very minute and does not outweigh the 1 point of VIT since more HP equates to increased survivability. I wanted to know what some of you guys think about this. Will you switch to Sauteed Coeurl moving foward?
This leads me to my 2nd question (Culinarian mostly). Why do you think that the only 2 star food in the game that required Philosophy matts (Cooking Sherry x10 = 125 Philosophy Tomes) is a Skill Speed Food? Could there be some hidden value here or do you think that its purely random that SE decided to make the most expenisve/valuable food a Skill Speed one?
I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet, but you can turn this off now.
Under Character Configuration > Log Window Settings, there is an option "Display recast timer error message." Turning this option off will stop the "Not Yet Ready" text from showing up.
As picky as it may be, this was one of the reasons I disliked using macros.
Sry if this has been answered before but i could need some help with a macro for cover.
I want to let the party know when and on whom i am using cover, so this is what i am using:
/macroicon "Cover"
/ac "Cover" <t>
/wait 1
/group Using "Cover" on <t> <se.9>
The wait command is just in there in case i spam the button, the party chat doesnt get filled with text.
My problem however is, that when my target is out of range, the skill doesnt go off yet the message in chat still appears. Is there a way to avoid that?
Awesome guide! Thanks for keeping it updated and current.
