Instances are ok -sometimes- but the way this game implemented them fails. Again FFXI had it right

And floating birds are just stupid. For a bland realistic world they are like the one thing that doesn't fit. In ffxi they kinda flew around a bit more and made sounds and just seemed more fitting. but here they just kinda float, and are annoying.
maps shouldn't be tedious to get more so if you love risk taking exploration but had an issue with directions.
Birds in this game are not real birds.... they are mobs we kill. of course they are not going to act like real birds. And they hover not float big difference.

nearly all of ffxi was considered instanced because everything was sectioned off in zones. And instance dungeons are one of few things I like because no sh1t for brains high level can come in and train kill all the mobs
