So i made another thread so we keep winning.

Of course we don't consolidate our conversation to single threads very often either.

We're also quite fond of the response thread where we post a new thread to argue the other thread rather than arguing within said other thread.

This is tangential, but we also use the tag line to anonymously insult each other, I'm curious if the other language general forums do that?

On the JP forums they tend to all post in existing threads instead of making 200 copies of the exact same thing, hence the small number of threads. It keeps the forums neat and tidy, with information easy to find.

On the other hand, in the EN forums it's not uncommon to see 4-5 of the same exact thing on the front page of general alone. You know, because "My identical issue is more important than yours and therefore needs it's own topic".

I thought it's more like
"Creating another two threads about our issue clearly increases visibility and gets it acknowledged thrice as fast. With everyone else making three threads about the same thing our issue might get buried otherwise. Titles in all caps and adding [To the DEVs] increases effectivity by 15.36%"

Or that's what I make of observing the frontpage during my breaks
