Food Affects after 1.19

Estellios Deatras pointed out that we can now see our food affects when we look at our stats (TRUE)

Decided to see this for myself!

Food item: Jellyfish Umbrella
Type: Seafood(Raw)
Quality: NQ
Level: 10 *according to YG*
Bonus: DEX/HP

I'm LV50 MRD Miqote

DEX went from 218 to 224(+6pts). I ALSO got TASTY result.

So this next time i paid a lil more attention...

I ate a Jelly Umbrella +3

DEX went from 218 to 226(+8pts), gave me DIVINE
My HP went from 3143 to 3266(+123pts)

Its good to see results!

I just ate a Tuna Miqabob at LV38 CUL and nothing changed but my ACC. Tuna Miqabobs are supposed to be Control and Accuracy +, but Accuracy didnt change. I screen shot before and after pics of my attributes menu in my blog. Though, after I ate the food, my crafting got better..placebo?? lol

I'm just shocked they haven't updated any recipes O:

I heard they're waiting to re-balance foodstuffs before they give us new/different recipe's and I hope it's true.

Though, to be /completely/ honest, I was dreading the recipe changes... I can't imagine making some crazy dish with two or three items that don't even seem to make sense or go together like a lot of the BSM and WVR recipes I saw. I appreciated the complexity of cooking and actually wish it to remain to the same.

I was VERY disappointed in that myself. I ranted in my LS for a minute about it. I thought this patch was going to do treat all the crafts the same, but the fact that an upcoming patch will cater to us (and ALC) i feel a bit special. I dont mind a reduction in ingredients, but like you said, they have to make it sensible ingredients.
EXAMPLE:
Tomato Pie
Pie Crust
Ruby Tomato
Mineral Water
Table Salt

Those 4 mats are fine with me especially since you only get 3 pies now instead of 6.
Some mats always was difficult to find both in wards or gathering, even buying from wards or vendor was a bit too pricey, but now I am happy to see a reduction in vendor prices for certain things since i can never find them in the wards. AND im happy that certain mobs drop them now AAAAAND they placed more Apkallus and Amal'jaas so i can get more eggs/sardines and buffalo milk!!!! <3

I think i just rambled. That and im drinking while blogging >_>

OH YEAH all of these ingredients are raping inventory space!

I agree that some food ingredients which still have maximum stack number of 12 should be changed to 99, especially small items (or items that sound small, yeah like Milk).

Seriously, I can walk around with 99 hammerhead sharks in my pocket but can't find the room for more than 12 bottles of mineral water at a time?
