I get that you're doing it for the tomes, but it's my first time in Prae and it's the final dungeon of the game's storyline quests.

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

It's the dungeon we get to face off against the main antagonist and fight for what we believe is right.

Yes, you can watch the scenes in the inn, but that's like taking clips out of a really good movie and watching them on YouTube. They don't really fit in context and the buildup/reveals aren't nearly as exhilirating.

I get you want your tomes ASAP, but the flaming isn't necessary. You can handle the extra 5-10 minutes it takes for people to complete the story that Final Fantasy is famous for.

Do not yield to tomerunners invading DF/story instances and forcing people into skipping cutscenes. If you see that they are griefing by starting fights while others are in CS, the very least you should do is report them.

I really don't understand why some people want to speed run praetorium when they can simply run any other dungeon for tomes much faster. I join praetorium once in awhile as white mage just to help out others, and I go in fully expecting people to watch cutscenes. Some people man....:/

asking for scene skips in AK/WP. yes understandable. but for castrum and praetorium i just dont understand it especially now since WP is a faster philo tome farm.

I cannot stress this enough...

Anyone running Praetorium or CM for tomes is BAD.

AF geared players that only kind of know what they are doing can clear WP in 30 minutes. 20 minutes with a half decent group... Good groups are sub 15 minutes.

Those players are bad... they are using the group to carry them/allow them to be lazy.

I do the same as Windseraph, and can confirm that there's almost always the classic "you can watch at the inn" spoony farmer around even after the last dungeon changes. Some people will never learn, or they do it specifically to harm the experience of other people. Maybe it's related to them being unable to find a party, if you know what I mean.

I have to agree with this thread. I got totally bitched at after finally getting into a Brayflox L. dungeon. I am an archer and had to wait nearly 2 hours to enter, which i've heard will be better for us 2.1, so great. BUT, once i finally got to checkout such a cool looking dungeon, i got bitched as before I even started it!! Why? Because I watched the entire opening cutscene, which was like what 15seconds? They told me i was a scumbag idiot and to just leave because anyone who watches the cutscenes obviously will be a shit player.. like wtf????

What kind of reasoning is this and why are people so pissed off I want to enjoy what is in place for the players to experience and watch!!!! Really gets on my nerves!!!

I watched all the cutscenes for my first time at each dungeon too.

and not all the cutscenes can be replayed in the inn, they're lying to every first timers.
