I agree that getting an FC is a good idea but lets face it. A lot of FC suck. Most of them have their own team already they like to squad with. Hopefully you are lucky enough and they will take you along. Lying is a lot of peoples only option and it's understandable. Even if you start saying. "I just want to explain the fight." They feel as though if everyone knew they were inexperienced you'd blame stuff on them. If you believe they are experienced they can get away with saying, "My bad" or "Lag" without anyone criticizing them for being new at this. To many times have I seen wannabe elites saying "Uninstall because you fail." to new players. Some people just need time to learn. Watching videos and actually doing something are 2 different types of experiences.

The problem with this statement is that you cannot lie your way past specific mechanics and it becomes immediately obvious that you have done so to get in.

If you are trying to enter coil as a BRD under the assumption you will be using silence on High Voltage a group will become aware of you not doing this after a few times.

If you are a DPS in Titan who is not freeing people from Gaols this becomes very obvious.

If you are flying off the edge during Demon Wall repeatedly we'll catch it.

This list continues and reflects the statement i made during the initial post of this thread.

The more complex content becomes (mechanics wise) the easier it is to spot people who haven’t attempted said content before.
At this point groups will more likely become frustrated not because you are new to the content, but because you have presented yourself in a dishonest manner to join their group and will likely be less forgiving for it.
