Stalemate.

Actually there's one alternative solution: Make macros stating you would like to know if anyone is a new, so you can help etc, sprinkle it with smileys to make em feel safe. Because after all a new person can't be the one to initiate this with something like "Would you mind if someone told you they were new? Me? Oh, no, totally not me." xD
When I enter a dungeon in which at least 1 party slot was filled with a random DF player, I will always greet the group with the autotranslation text "Hello! (^_^ )/ Nice to meet you!" Just to give an indication that I come in peace. (^_^ )

I was thinking about adding the text "if you have any questions, please let me know. I'll help you as best as I can".

Everyone has been to that place where you experience the said content for the first time. So, think about how you would feel if someone bails out on you, because you said that this is your first run, or that you wear the regular AF gear in WP/AK/CM.
