I understand your point better with this post. I do the same. I like to play with pugs as well or help random people out. Hydra/Chimera/Titan. When I play with the groups though, I just expect bad things to happen and I try to adjust or prepare. It might be the fact that I play a healer and I'm always watching what my party does or expect for things to go completely wrong at any given moment. I don't however believe people who screw things up are always making it up that they are inexperienced. Sometimes I tell people to take a deep breath and to calm down. It does help as well. We are all humans and there will be times when errors happen.

On a related note, we have plenty of access to guides and videos of things. I really think people should at least watch a video and learn your role in the fight. It is better than running blind in and hoping everything goes correctly.
