New Achievement?

So I was crafting earlier when an npc showed up in Ul'dah wearing a jester's crown. I spoke to him about the whole end of the world thing and false prophets. I logged off a few hours later but only just got around to checking my achievements page and I saw a new achievement, bordered in purple with pink font "Seventh Moon Rising".

I know about the event npcs and the deaspected crystals and all that, but I've never seen anyone mention anything about an achievement. Doesn't seem like much of an achievement though...

Any news on this?

When you see or talk to the prophets it gives you the achievement.

Makes me upset they only show up when I'm at work ; ;

I didn't know the NPCs were still spawning! I'm an achievement junkie, and I'm DYING to get this achiev, since it obviously can only be earned for a limited time.

Please post any specifics that you know (time of spawns, areas of town or camps)!

People have seen the GM/pseudo-Arcanist Urianger Augurelt appear both in Ul'dah and at the camps. He speaks in one language only, and gives some good buffs. I believe he only shows up when the regions are in their weird state. For Thanalan, it's when the music isn't playing.

I think the achievement is unlocked only when you talk to a new NPC that appears near Urianger, that speaks aloud to denounce Urianger's message.

I thought I had missed the achievement, but saw him at Camp Horizon on May 13, 2:30pm GMT (10:30pm JP time), on iStory. He was reciting his verses in Japanese, though others have seen him do so in French, German and English. Apparently since he's a GM, he doesn't seem to appear across all servers at the same time.

I waited for him at horizon. First Rosya? *spelling NPC popped under the tent. talked to her and she says we should help rid the aether of all of the prophecy speakers. Then after a while the GM popped right beside the aether. I couldn't talk to him. Just gotta stand beside him and listen when he speaks. Then they both dissapeared and the heavens began to pour.

I found Alfgar tonight in Uldah! It was 9:15PM CST on Besaid.

He was standing right in front of the fountain between the repair NPC and the chocobo handler.

Woot!

Edit: As of 9:35PM, he's still here. Not sure how long he remains. If you're on Besaid and still need to talk to him, better get to Uldah!
