    Myth capping per class, instead of account?

    Was hoping there'd be a way to implement this in game, I relies it would mean that you'd need to run more dungeons to cap each week, and that it would force people to play there mains, and alts in instances, but I just think it would be more convenient and allow for gearing of alternative class's easier.

    as of now, gearing of alt is already easy and will be made easier with the higher myth cap in 2.1

    any easier, they might as well give you myth tomes through the moogle mail

    I didn't know they where raising myth count's, but I don't see how you can get myth gear on alts at all yet, honestly, I'm still working on my main, even with coil.
    what I was hoping for was a way to have myth be class specific, you earn it on that class and can only spend it for gear for that class, if that makes sense.

    The cap will be raised to 450 in 2.1. That means you can get a piece of jewelry every week, your +1 or your relic body/pants every 2 weeks and your hat/boots/gloves every 1-2 weeks. If you're going all Myth, that's 14-17 weeks to get everything instead of the current time it takes.
    Also considering how some Coil pieces outweigh some myth pieces (or iLvl 70 accessories) then you'll just easily get what you need in Myth, then move onto your next job.

    Myth caps will be increased to 450 in 2.1 along with new content that drops Myth tomes.

    Allagan gear can either be worn by 2 classes or you get to greed roll gear that no one needs/wants and potentially help in gearing an alt. Myth gear in this situation serves only to supplement and plug the gaps, if Myth gear are made exceptionally easy and quick to obtain, there will be little reason to actively farm coil.

    This was vaguely hinted in the live letter and the short answer would be "no".

    They gave exactly this amount of myth under this structure because it puts players at the speed of progression they want to allow.

    Bolded for emphasis. They are never going to make tomes per class as the entire reason for the cap in the first place is to limit exactly what the OP is asking for.
