Petition for Crystal Tower should be 24 man not 8 man pugs

I still can not believe that they are doing this to use. Im so upset right now about this news

I've been working hard to create an FC with enough people to do 1-2 CT groups. CT was something I was looking forward to do as a Free Company and it's also an event that I had been hoping would bring the FC back together to do endgame content, but now apparently, SE doesn't care about community and social structure, they just want the casual player to login, DF something, play, and logoff without really much need to interact with people or form communities.

Before launch, we were told that CT would be released as a 24 man raid with 3 groups of 8. You obviously assume that means that you can create your own 24 man raid and attempt CT.

For them to release this and say "OH HAI GUYS, you have to pug the remaining 16 people" is ridiculous. SE, at the very least admit this was a mistake and please tell us by when this nonsense will get fixed.

huh? they said this wasn't ready YET but that it will be possible in the future. Possibly before 2.2 I hope. What are you going on about? you think this was their intention?

You have validated what I posted. You also do not know when this will be fixed. I would like to see the full post that states that they made a mistake and that they are going to release this on a specific date to address that mistake.

You can't release 2.0, say that "fixes are coming in 2.1", release content in 2.1, then say "fixes to that content are coming in 2.2". Get it right the first time.

Obviously assume? No, I would only have assumed that had they said 1 24 man group, not 3 8 man groups. Plus it was a month or so back when they stated that CT would essentially be three groups working independently towards a common goal (something like that). Doesn't sound like a single 24 man group to me.

To come out now saying this is a surprise, and you didn't expect it means you either didn't read enough or didn't understand what you read.

I would be more upset that the requirements for CT is ilvl55.

But they said for 2.1 that we would not be able to form the entire party server side. So 2.2 I'm sure we'll be able to.

They made it pretty clear in the live letter that the 8 man thing is a limitation of the DF and they have to do extra work (which they ARE doing) to make it possible to enter as 24. Yes it sucks but they didn't do this deliberately for some arbitrary reason, it's just gonna take longer to get that sorted.

They already said they couldn't get a full working 24-man ready in time for 2.1

But they will add it in a later patch. So we just have to deal with DF for now. It sucks, but this petition changes nothing.
