Not sure exactly what the OP is trying to say, but what I think he really means is that GLA/PLD is an extremely boring class to play, as all you do is spam the RoH combo over and over while popping a CD here and there.

Although in fact im pretty sure i've hit flash about 3x more than ive hit RoH, as our aoe combo comprised solely of spamming flash till OOM and then using riot blade or bard song to get some back.

I think what he meant to say was that GLA combat is too slow, as in... there is nothing to do, no weaving different combos or anything like that.

The problem with PLD is not speed of combat. The problem the lack of variety with the constant use of a single boring combo. I really would love them to add a second combo that ends with Cure (healing multiplier) that would be apart of the basic tanking rotation (riot blade combo is only in WP speed runs and is not part of the basic rotation). This would also help deal with PLDs identity crisis where it doesn't feel like a PLD at all but rather just a plan boring Knight due to lack of practical white magic use.
